Before I ever stepped fully behind the camera, I was a marketing grad obsessed with advertising imagery. My original “dream job” was working for a high profile ad agency in a big city somewhere, like New York City.
I began my career in sales and marketing roles right out of college, building websites and campaigns. What captivated me most were the visuals. I found photos told the story faster and more powerfully than copy ever could.
That realization shaped everything.
Today, my background in marketing strategy informs every brand photography session and interior shoot I lead. I don’t just take photos, I help you communicate.
From Side Hustle to Full-Fledged Business
In January 2011, I launched LMT Photography as an LLC in Virginia while working full-time, building my business on nights and weekends.
What began as a creative outlet evolved (through many iterations) into a strategy-led photography experience rooted in intentional storytelling.
In January 2023, I re-established the business officially as LMT Photography and Design LLC in New Jersey, where I now serve clients throughout the Northeast and beyond.

Education and Lifelong Learning
I earned my B.S. in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!), building a strong foundation in consumer behavior, brand development, and strategy.
While my path into photography wasn’t traditional, it was intentional. I have invested in continued education, coursework at NYU, mentorships, and workshops to stay sharp and serve my clients at a high level.
