Behind the Scenes:
What to Expect for Your Interior Photography Session
Ever wondered what it’s like to book an Interior Photography Session with me?
Working with me is straightforward, collaborative, and designed to make your life easier. You will walk away with strong, purposeful imagery that does more than just look good. Here’s how it works from start to finish.
Step 1: Book a Call
You’re ready to elevate your interior photography, and you’ve landed here. Welcome!
The first step is booking a discovery call so we can chat about your project, vision, style, and budget. This is the best way to see if we’re a good fit and make sure I can meet your needs.
I specialize in working with small businesses and design professionals to create polished, personality-driven imagery that reflects your company and helps grow your portfolio and client base.
Step 2: Contract + Deposit
If we’re aligned after the call, great! We will set a date and I’ll send over a contract that outlines project scope, fees, usage rights, and other details.
To officially book your session, a deposit is required and will go toward your final investment.
I work on an hourly basis with a 2-hour minimum per interior session. Travel fees and additional licensing (if applicable) are discussed during our discovery call.
Step 3: Space Walkthrough
Once the contract is signed, I like to get familiar with all spaces I photograph ahead of the shoot.
If you’re local to Cedar Grove, NJ (Essex County), we will meet for a quick in-person walkthrough. Otherwise, we can do a virtual walkthrough, live on video, or by sending clips/photos back and forth.
This step is very important to the planing process and helps us create a detailed Image List to ensure shoot day runs smoothly.
Step 4: Photo Day!
The big day is here! We’ll meet at the agreed-upon time and start with a quick walkthrough to review the Image List and make sure everything is styled and ready.
From there, I’ll handle the photography while you sit back, or stay involved if you’d like a more hands-on experience.
Step 5: Editing and Delivery
After your session, I’ll carefully review and edit the final image selections with an emphasis on clean lines, true-to-life color, and natural light. My editing style is intentional and timeless so your photos stay relevant and high-impact over time.
You can expect your final gallery within 2–4 weeks. Final files are delivered via a downloadable online gallery, with both high-res and web-ready versions included.
Need your images sooner? Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee, just let me know your timeline upfront.
