12.10.2010: Pantone Color of the Year for 2011, Honeysuckle

The newest addition to the Pantone Color of the Year series for 2011 is Honeysuckle. This bold, reddish pink hue is sure to be a welcome change of pace from recent years, as it is on the opposite side of the color wheel. Pantone adds, “Energizing Honeysuckle lifts spirits and imparts confidence to meet life’s ongoing challenges.”

I must say, I have to agree. This shade will be perfect for spring and summer wardrobes. A saturated, bold pink that I hope to see men embracing in their wardrobes for a nice change of pace to add that perfect pop of complimentary color.
