My sweet girl Dakota turned 9 yesterday. Well, April 11 is technically her “family day”—the date she was adopted. Whatever you choose to call it, April 11 is certainly a day to celebrate in our home. Happy 9th Birthday Dakota!!

Yesterday was pretty chilly, so we took advantage of today’s more beautiful weather and decided to hike Eagle Rock Reservation. After four miles, we packed it in and headed to Dairy Queen for birthday ice cream. All in all, another successful (and delicious) birthday for Miss Dakota.
