05.03.2014: Spring Hike at Ramapo

This weekend was the first time I noticed the trees in bloom this Spring. I couldn’t wait to get out my camera and go on an adventure, so I grabbed Mr. T. and we drove up to Ramapo Mountain State Forest. Initially, we were in search of some alleged castle ruins, but that didn’t pan out, as we were ill-prepared for the number of trails. We both figured there would have been some easy-to-read signs like “Castle this way!” or something equally as obvious. We were wrong… and then came the rain, which (thankfully) only lasted a few minutes. Here are some photos I snapped along the way. What a beautiful place. The macro world was definitely my favorite for this trip. Can’t wait to go back and reconvene for Castle Quest ver2.0…
